NFL Bullying Scandal
The NFL scandal began with Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin’s October 2013 bullying complaint and ended with the Ted Wells investigative report on Feb. 14, 2014.
Wells, after consulting with Dr. Namie, wrote in his report: “Even the largest, strongest and fleetest person may be driven to despair by bullying, taunting and constant insults.”
Wm. David Cornwell, acclaimed celebrity and sports attorney, retained Dr. Namie as expert for Mr. Martin. Cornwell said “My first, and last, call for a national expert in workplace bullying was to Gary Namie.“
