Policy Creation and Enforcement Procedures
An explicit behavioral standard is the cornerstone of an impersonal, systemic solution to workplace bullying. The policy is the first step in the prevention of bullying. Dr. Gary Namie, facilitates your designated internal writing group through a 2-day proprietary process to create the policy with enforcement procedures. Our unique, in-depth expertise anticipates pitfalls for traditional interventions. We create innovative investigatory processes and remedies. This results in three deliverables: policy, procedures, and education rollout plan.

Train-the-Trainer: The 3-day Train-the-Trainer immersion agenda includes: (a) Multi-modular, in-depth, interactive learning about the origin of workplace bullying and its impact; (b) Coverage of relevant research; (c) Modeling the ideal presentation; (d) Rehearsal by participants; and (e) Evaluation and coaching of trainers prior to Certification.
Train an Internal Resource Group:
A designated group of employees may serve one or more purposes as investigators, information resource peers, trainers. The group receives 2 days of intensive training on all aspects of workplace bullying and how to coach and advise peers.
Assessing the Problem
Qualitative Interviews: Our team interviews designated individuals or volunteers in private sessions to determine the prevalence, nature, and history and consequences of bullying in your organization.
Quantitative Surveys: We obtain a snapshot of the prevalence of bullying in your organization, and, if present, which are the most affected groups. We are veteran survey designers and university instructors of research methodologies. We designed the only national scientific U.S. Workplace Bullying Survey.
Restoring Employee Health
The Work Team: Post-bullying healing and rebuilding processes for affected team members who witnessed the bullying of a peer.
The Bullied Target: The individual targeted by the bully deserves special support and help with emotional repair for being stigmatized, ostracized, and potentially traumatized. In-person and telephone consultations are also available.
Respectful Conduct Clinic for the aggressor: An individualized 2-day intervention which re-orders the bully's agenda to conform with the more important employer's legitimate business interests. Accountability is restored.
